Learn to Swim

Welcome to the Learn to Swim section of Dawlish Swimming Club!

Our Learn to Swim sessions, provide important life skills for children to stay safe in the water, teaching national swim stages, giving children the skills to be confident swimmers who are able to progress on to our swim squads. Stages 1 - 4 are held on Wednesday and Friday evenings in term time. Stages 5 + are held on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings. Our Teachers

We have a team of qualified swimming teachers and coaches plus a number of poolside assistants who work with the children to provide high quality tuition and support.

Term Dates 2024/25

Our Learn To Swim section operates in Term Time only. The dates for the 2024/25 school year are:

Autumn Term
Friday 6 September 2024 to Wednesday 18 December 2024.
Half term (no swimming) 28 October 2024 to 5 November 2024.
Spring Term
Wednesday 8 January 2025 to Saturday 5 April 2025.
Half term (no swimming) 17 February 2025 to 24 February 2025.
Summer Term
Wednesday 23 April 2025 to Saturday 26 July 2025.
Half term (no swimming) 26 May to 2 June.
