East Devon Mini League 2016 Champions

Dawlish Swimming Club travelled to Exmouth for the final round of this year’s East Devon Mini league. Dawlish came into this round topping the league following successful wins in the first 2 rounds earlier this year.

It was a hard fought round, with great support for all the competing clubs from their team mates and spectators alike, swimmers competed in 55 events of Freestyle, Breastroke, Butterfly and Backstroke team relay and individual sprint races.

Dawlish Swimming Club put in an outstanding performance, winning them 21 first, 12 second and 6 third places, resulting in them coming out on top on the night with 244 points and enabling them to win the Mini league trophy for the second year running.

The final results after 3 rounds were as follows Dawlish 635 points, Torquay 515 points, Exmouth 487 points, Newton Abbot 459 points , Exeter 365 points and Paignton 332 points.

Congratulations to all the swimmers who have competed in the Mini League squad this year and thank you to all the volunteer coaches, officials and team managers who gave up their time and helped at this and all previous rounds.
